Holi is one of the most popular festivals in India. Holi is called the festival of colors. This festival is celebrated on a full Moon day in the month of phalgun according to the Hindu calendar.
Holi is two days. Ancient Hindu religious festival. The first day is known as Holika Dahan or choti holi. On this day cord Vishnu saved his great devotee Prahlad from Holika and Hiranyakasyap. People burn the effigy of Holika and celebrate holi by singing and dancing around on this day.
The next day is called rangoli, holi, etc on this happy day people play with colors. Meet and greet one another and create a new beginning. Children are very happy and they run around splashing watercolors using water.
Holi gives us the message of love unity and togetherness. It brings harmony and happiness to the country. so we should use natural colors which are made from flowers of test or palash tree which are not allergic to skin and have a save.
